Arrival (2016)

So unbelievably well realized. A director with a vision and an idea perfectly executed. No scene is extra, everything serves the story and the message. I forgot how straightforward the story really is and how, funnily enough, the narrative just all feels like it flows forwards so effortlessly. Nobody's doing bic, blockbuster, Hollywood movies like Villeneuve. Maybe Nolans the only comp. A real expert

Also, Amy Adams knocks it out of the park. And having on the nature of daylight to start and end your movie is just a crazy auto masterpiece hack
