Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011)

It honestly is really well made. And especially compared to big franchise, slop cgi filmmaking, this has such a realism and beautifully visualized world. Scores phenomenal and some really iconic shots.

But honestly, none of that matters. I grew up on Harry Potter and rewatching these movies fills me with such a nostalgia for the Wizarding world. All the memories of reading the books as a kid and watching these movies
 come flooding back and fill me with the warmth and love that JK imbued it with. Yes there are some critical changes from the book but, even if you view the movie franchise as its own entity (which a lot of ppl who haven’t read the books  - my roommate included - do) it still is masterful franchise storytelling. Actors, storylines, and overall quality of filmmaking throughout 8 films is damn impressive.

I fear another Harry Potter books and movies deep dive is about to happen to me
