Hero (2002)

Holy shit.
Really incredible action filmmaking. Everything feels artificial motivated - the first fight in the temple, the fight with the emperor and the green drapes, all the stunt and wire work.
I honestly consider this movie a way to learn about different cultures. It sheds light on the way they think about philosophy and disciplines and honestly the fight style in the fight sequences could only be made in a country with the rich history that China has.
