Mickey 17 (2025)

I'm not sure what exactly, I expected. I adore parasite and memories of murder, and so maybe I was thinking this would be more naturalistic and more of a classic-style stone cold masterpiece. Funnily enough I haven't seen the host, okja, or Snowpiercer and I think those would've been really great precursors to this movie. This movie feels way more in line with those dystopian, sci-fi heavily, politicized commentary movies. Nonetheless, I had a really good time with this movie even if there were portions of it that felt too cliche and characters that felt like stock characters. Pattinson absolutely killed it.
