If I'm ever in the Criterion closet, this is the first movie I'm grabbing.

Loved every minute of this. The lighthearted nature of it all. The blending of genres. I always wondered what would happen if a movie followed after characters who just wandered through the screen - Tampopo does it so well! Such a feel good, warm-hug of a movie. Can't wait to watch it again
