Film review
Taxi Driver (1976)
★★★★★
They just don’t make movie like that anymore. A slow paced descent into the oncoming insanity of a troubled protagonist. And an ending which must have been controversial certain to spur a debate on the merits or issues with what the protagonist did. The dialogue was nothing special but the overall screenplay was great; a fantastic character studied accompanied by scorseses sublime shots of New York City (mainly at night). The movie was beautiful and I just wish I could have seen it in theaters rather than the inferior Netflix quality
