The Banshees of Inisherin (2022)

I understand how this was written by a playwright. The dialogue was very much the main force of this movie and it could have been mostly just as easily been done on the stage. There were some parts like the cinematography and close ups which make more sense in the movie. Plus certain cut scenes which helped flesh out the movie more. There’s something more here about animals relationships with humans that was demonstrated by all those cut scenes with animals which mirrored the two friends relationship at that point in the movie. Also loved the whole philosophical question of contributing something to the world that will outlive you vs having a nice life in your time
