The Sound of Music (1965)

Went on the official sound of music tour in Salzburg Austria so naturally had to rewatch one of my all time favorites. 
Defies a star rating for me really. It’s a perfect movie, yes, but it’s also one that transports me back to my childhood. To my father sitting us down and telling us were about to watch a musical. And being transported that first time and every time since into the beautiful city of Austria and the timeless music of Rodger’s and Hammerstein. I’ll show this movie to my great grandchildren and I’m sure they’ll show it to theirs. A timeless classic
