The Worst Person in the World (2021)

Such an intriguing film. An analysis of a woman’s slow fight against time and the sense of unfulfillment unfortunately projected on those around her. The movie really wasn’t about relationships; the whole thing was about time, lost opportunities, and ab undying urge to achieve. Really fascinating how certain things were portrayed; almost felt like an animation in some sense: the freeze scene running around Norway and the mushroom trip scene. Mind boggling. 
Definitely need to process this film but what I can say is that it made me reevaluate my thoughts on lady bird. This felt real without the happiness of movies injected into its landscape. This was harsh reality told in a way that only movie magic could portray, in a very unmagucal, depressing way. Really incredible and although she won’t win it, the protagonist  deserves best actress at every festival ( Oscar’s included)
