High School Musical 2 (2007)

Miley Cyrus is in this for half a second dancing at the pool party musical number at the end and that reminded me of the broader Disney channel cinematic universe 
I’d seen this one the least so the nostalgia had to be resurfaced from much deeper in the vault but wow oh wow did this one bring back some memories
Real acting. Real character growth. The movie felt realer than the half baked stuff that kids watch these days
Also this movie is lit and shot so much better than most Disney content now. Great lighting. On location shooting. It’s not too hard Disney. Start making em like you used to in the early 2000s again. what happened
